Cool and Hot

Cool jazz, hot jazz, a flying soprano, a duckwalking guitar, a bouncing bass, a player piano, a new face on the drums, and three brown chicks, all grooving along to the music in an animated way.

I composed and played the music, including the soprano saxophone, which is a one-take improvisation, and I thought it would be fun to animate it, as you can see.

This is my first music animation – there may well be more.

This bird plays the soprano saxophone, with authentic finger positions. Purists will note missing pads and keys, but all the ones the bird plays are there, so there.
